How To Wirelessly Charge Your New Phone with New Case

The biggest question that was on my mind when the new iPhones came out with wireless charging capability: Can you charge your phone with the phone case in place?
When the first phones came out that were able to be charged wirelessly and first wireless chargers hit the market, I heard from various sources that the case needed to be removed. If this was the case these days as well, that is quite a hassle and major inconvenience.
